Wango, Virginiah

Virginiah Wango is a PhD Student in Agricultural and Applied Economics at the Department of Agricultural Economics, Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Nairobi. She is currently conducting her research on ‘Adoption of Climate Information Services and Effects on Farmers’ Livelihoods in Arid and Semi-Arid areas in Makueni County, Kenya.’

Virginiah has been engaged in several field data work for agricultural projects on food safety and technology adoption. Her interests are in agricultural transformation and adaptation to changing climate and variability. She is highly analytical, an excellent communicator and a great team coordinator.
