Academic programs

ENRRI’s capacity development program aims to produce scholars who will be at the forefront of national efforts towards a sustainable environment. To achieve this, ENRRI supports young scholars through its contribution – teaching, supervision, mentoring – to postgraduate programs in natural resource economics, and energy at the University of Ghana and the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

In addition to its involvement in teaching activities, ENRRI embeds junior scholars to undertake research on specific focus areas. This affords them opportunity to gain research experience working as part of the ENRRI team, assisting senior researchers on their projects. They also derive the full benefits of ENRRI’s diverse and interactive learning environment, helping them further their talents, engage in career-enhancing collaborations, build strong networks and gain expertise that is not typically offered in an academic setting.

ENRRI also offers a variety of specialized non-degree courses to provide training and refresher training for professionals, policy makers and implementers working on environment and natural resource issues.
