EfD Annual Meeting 2023

The Environment for Development (EfD) is a leading global network of environmental economics research centers solving the world’s most pressing environmental and development challenges. We contribute to the effective management of the environment in the Global South through policy-relevant research, capacity development, and policy engagement.

EfD research centers are hosted by leading local academic research institutions in 13 countries across the Global South: Chile, China, Colombia, Central America, Ethiopia, Ghana, India, Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, and Vietnam.

Held since 2007, the EfD Annual Meeting has evolved to become the largest and most vibrant conference in the Global South on the application of environmental and resource economics.

The Meeting is a forum for researchers from the wider EfD network, research collaborators, and other key stakeholders to interact and exchange research ideas, seek collaborations, discuss research proposals, and present research results from EfD projects.

The 2023 Meeting is organized by EfD in partnership with the Environment and Natural Resource Research Initiative (ENRRI-EfD Ghana).
