Fallas Barquero, Susana
Susana holds a university degree in agronomic engineering from EARHT University, located in Costa Rica, and obtained a master's degree in industrial business administration from the Universidad Iberoamericana, situated in Puebla, Mexico.
Since 2022, she has been responsible for following up and monitoring the activities of the program Scaling Up of Ecosystem-based Adaptation Measures (EbA) in Latin America, where she also provides administrative support.
Susana also has experience coordinating projects, implementing business plans, managing staff, and coordinating office work. Part of this experience was achieved when she oversaw the office of the minister of agriculture and livestock of Costa Rica. Also, in Mexico, she performed professionally in different positions, among them as the operational coordinator of a project related to climate change implemented by the Centro de Cambio Global and Sustainability (CCGS).
Mentoring
At the University of Anahuac, situated in Puebla, Mexico, Susana taught three different certificate programs on subjects related to the development of business. Specifically, in the certificate programs on organic products, and high technology in greenhouses.
Grants and consultancy
Susana has received a fellowship from the W.K. Kellogg's Foundation to proceed with her studies at EARTH University, in Costa Rica.
