The division of Research for Inclusive Green Development at CATIE (Tropical Agricultural Research and Higher Education Center) in Costa Rica has opened a position a coordinator of the Gender and Equity Unit. The main objective of this position is to "lead research and the mainstreaming of the gender approach in research, education and external projection actions, to ensure the Inclusive Green Development of CATIE and that the processes contribute to the economics empowerment of women, youth and vulnerable populations and the generation of relationships of more equal power". 

The Alliance for African Partnership (AAP) established its African Futures Research Leadership Program in Fall 2019.
