Musembi, Elly

Elly Musembi is the current Data Manager and junior researcher fellow at EfD-Kenya. He has been a member of EfD-Kenya since 2019 and has constantly been involved in several research projects at the center. He received his master’s and bachelor’s degrees from the Department of Economics and Development Studies (Formerly School of Economics) at Nairobi. He has a wealth of experience in research in climate change, agriculture, energy, and the blue economy. His research interests are in energy (renewable energy, energy transitions, etc.), agriculture and climate change (carbon farming, carbon tax in the agricultural sector, climate-smart farming, etc.), circular economy, and Rural poverty.
