Manuel Estay is a faculty member of the Economics Department at the University of Concepción, Chile. He holds an M.A. in Natural Resource and Environmental Economics from the University of Concepción and recently obtained his PhD. in Resource Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. His research interest focus on Aquaculture and Fishery Economics and Industrial Organization applied to natural resource management. He also has teaching experience in Econometrics and Microeconomics at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
