Chau, Tran My Minh

Chau Tran is a research fellow from the Economy and Environment Partnership for Southeast Asia (EEPSEA). She received a Ph.D. (2020) in Economics from Monash University, Australia. Before joining EEPSEA, she was a lecturer at Hue college of Economics and University of Economics and Business – National University, Hanoi.

Research interest

Tran’s research focuses on gender inequality in labour markets and the effect of early childhood conditions on disadvantaged groups. She is also interested in behaviour economics and experimental economics and has had experiences conducting experiments in Vietnam.

Mentoring

She was a mentor for young researchers who received EEPSEA small research grant in 2022 and is currently supervising a master student of Vietnam-Netherlands Programme (VNP).
