Climate and Clothing
The weather is mildly cooler and less humid in October. The temperatures can vary from 24 to 29°C. Please note there may be occasional showers. The organizers suggest that you bring light clothing suitable for the tropical climate.

Local Currency
The Ghanaian Cedis (GH₵) is the unit of currency in Ghana. Estimate: Euro 1= GH₵ 13.5, USD 1= GH₵ 12.4. Major credit cards are accepted almost everywhere. There are several currency exchange offices and ATM machines across Accra.

Electricity
In Ghana, the electrical voltage used is 220/230V.
Passport and Visas
Delegates are advised to contact the nearest embassy, consulate, or travel agency for information about the passport and visa requirements from their country for entry to Ghana.

Insurance and Vaccinations
The registration fee does not cover insurance for the delegates. The organizers recommend that delegates take out insurance in their home country to cover pre-journey cancellation for personal reasons and necessary insurance to cover accidents, medical expenses, and loss of personal belongings during the trip. Yellow fever vaccination is required when visiting Ghana.
