Thi Thanh Le , Ngan

Ngan Thi Thanh Le is a postdoctoral researcher with the Dsolve project and Marine Resource Economics group at UiT, The Arctic University of Norway. She holds a PhD in Social Science from UiT, Norway and a master's degree in public economics from ICU, Japan. Previously, she was a Lecturer and Researcher at Nha Trang University in Vietnam for about 15 years. Since 2024, she has primarily worked on projects focused on plastic pollution reduction in the aquaculture industry, examining various challenges related to governance incentives, policy evaluation and management, social acceptance, and sustainability.

Research interests

Le's research focuses on governance incentives for reducing plastic pollution in the aquaculture industry. She integrates economic analysis with climate adaptation strategies for salmon and shrimp farming.
