Owoo, Nkechi S.

Dr. Nkechi S. Owoo is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Economics at the University of Ghana. In her current position, she teaches courses at the undergraduate level and lectures in Health Economics and Applied Econometrics at the graduate level. Dr Owoo has a specialization in spatial econometrics and her research focuses on microeconomic issues in developing countries, including household behaviour, health, agriculture, gender issues and population and demographic economics. Dr. Owoo received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Ghana in 2006 and received a Master’s degree in Economics from Clark University in 2009. She completed her PhD in Economics from Clark University, MA, USA in 2012.
