Oranu, Chizoba Obianuju

Chizoba Obianuju Oranu is an EfD Researcher and an Efd early career fellow. She has a Master’s in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, after completing a one-year master’s mobility programme at Mekelle University, Ethiopia, under the Trans-disciplinary Training for Resource Efficiency and Climate Change Adaptation in Africa (TRECCAfrica) intra-ACP Mobility scheme. Her PhD (in view) is in Agricultural and Resource Economics, from Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, (LUANAR), Malawi, under the Regional Universities Forum (RUFORUM) Graduate Teaching Assistantship program. She is also a teaching staff in the Department of Agricultural Economics, University of Nigeria, Nsukka

Research interests

Chizoba’s main research areas are Environment and Development Economics with a focus on Forestry, Energy, Climate Change, Poverty, Food Security and Gender.
