Miano , Grace

Grace Miano is a development economics practitioner specialising in livelihoods and conservation programmes. She is currently working for International Union for conservation of Nature (IUCN) in East and South Africa Region Office as monitoring and Evaluation Advisor for USAID project that is supporting the East African Community in the implementation of its commitments to conserve wildlife and habitats in East Africa

Previously, she worked at International Livestock Research institute (ILRI) where she was  overseeing project evaluations and reviews, developing research, monitoring and evaluation systems; developing theories of change and logic models and other strategic planning approaches.

 Her affiliations include, Institute of Economic affairs and Evaluation Society of Kenya.

Miano research interest is on climate change and food security and is currently enrolling for a PHD programme at the University of Nairobi to commence in September 2022
