Nominate Research Fellow(s) to the EfD Policy Impact Award
Are you familiar with EfD research projects and/or policy engagement activities that have had important policy impacts? Then you are welcome to nominate the EfD Research Fellow(s) to the first EfD Policy Impact Award. Self-nominations are also very welcome! The winner(s) will be announced at the EfD annual meeting in Uganda September 22-26, 2022. The deadline for nominations is August 21st.
Besides a nice diploma, the winning nomination will be featured on the EfD homepage, in press-releases, in a feature publication, and possibly also in a short film. The winner(s) will also be invited to make a presentation at Sida (virtual or in person).
The submitted nominations will be evaluated by a committee according to the following criteria:
The research project and/or policy engagement activities should have
- documented impact in terms of change in legislation/policy or other drivers that deliver reduced poverty and/or more sustainable management of the environment and/natural resources;
- been conducted by an individual EfD researcher, a group of EfD researchers, or a group of researchers where an EfD researcher has played an essential role;
- been undertaken during the last five years.
The nominations will be evaluated by a committee of distinguished policy experts.
