PhD Position in economics of tropical deforestation at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences

The School of Economics and Business, the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU) offers a 3-year position as a Ph.D. Research Scholar, starting in August 2021. The Ph.D. candidate will work on a project titled “Deforestation Diagnostics: identifying context-relevant policies to reduce tropical deforestation”, under the supervision of Prof. Arild Angelsen, and in close collaboration with the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and its global comparative study on REDD+.
