Event Information
Topics: Across the world, corporations and nations are looking to voluntary carbon markets and future Article 6 arrangements to reach their Net Zero goals and Nationally Determined Contributions. Yet the voluntary carbon market is one in flux: shifting Net Zero guidance, changing compliance markets, and the implementation of Article 6 of the Paris Agreement complicate our understanding of voluntary carbon markets. This session will bring together experts to help unpack these changes and what they mean for the integrity, equity and efficiency of global decarbonisation.
Held at Panmure House, the former residence of renowned economist Adam Smith, the event will culminate with an optional tour of the location, which is now owned by Heriot-Watt University.
