Kevin Rugaimukamu is a lecturer at the Mwalimu Nyerere Memorial Academy (MNMA) Economics department, in Dar-es-salaam. He has held various positions in the department and currently serves as the examination officer of the department. He is a research fellow of the Environment for Development Initiative Center in Tanzania at the University of Dar-es-salaam (UDSM).
He holds a Ph.D. degree in Economics from the University of Cape Town, South Africa. an Economist and Statistician by profession, he brings with him vast knowledge in research and policy formulation in the areas of household energy transitions, rural electrification agriculture, and labor. He has held various consultancy positions with various national and international organizations, such as the International Labor Organization, The University of Dar-es-salaam (UDSM), the Association of Tanzanian Employers (ATE), and Research for Poverty Alleviation (REPOA) in Tanzania and, CPCS Transcom (Canada).
