Rivera Villalobos, Daniela
Daniela has a degree on Sustainable Development Engineering from the University of Costa Rica. Her experience includes supporting research projects on the economic valuation of environmental externalities, sustainable financing mechanisms for fisheries, and community-based water management. She also has experience in data analysis and preparation of technical reports to inform decision-making processes in environmental economics and sustainable development.
Research interests
Her research interests focus on environmental and resource economics, sustainable production and consumption, climate change adaptation, community-based resource governance, and sustainable financing mechanisms.
Awards
At the University of Costa Rica, Daniela was distinguished with the highest academic performance in the Degree in Sustainable Development Engineering from 2019 to 2022, as well as the highest academic performance at the Atlantic Regional Campus in both 2019 and 2022.
