Mulwa, Richard

Prof. Richard Mulwa is the current Centre Director and Senior Research Fellow at the Environment for Development-Kenya (EfD-K) based at the Department of Economics and Development Studies, University of Nairobi. He holds a PhD from the Justus-Liebig University (JLU), Giessen, Germany and is currently teaching at the Centre for Advanced Studies in Environmental Law and Policy (CASELAP) and School of Economics, University of Nairobi. He is a member of the African Growth and Development Policy (AGRODEP) Modelling Consortium, African Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EFAERE), European Association of Environmental and Resource Economists (EAERE), and is the Secretary General of African Society of Ecological Economists (ASEE). Richard Mulwa has a wealth of experience in Efficiency and Productivity Analysis, Environmental and Resource Economics and Policy, Environmental Valuation, Economic Modelling, and Climate Change. He has been involved in many research projects in these areas, published widely in international peer reviewed journals, and is a reviewer of several reputable journals.
