Jana, Kaushik

Kaushik Jana is an Assistant Professor at the SQC & OR Unit, Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi. Prior to it, he taught at Ahmedabad University (2021-24) and was a postdoctoral research associate at Imperial College London (2018-2021). He obtained a PhD in Statistics from the Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata, in 2017. His research interests lie in developing statistical methodologies in extreme value statistics, quantile inference, reliability analysis, and survey sampling, with applications across diverse domains such as environment and climate sciences, public health, and social phenomena.
