Gupta, Tanu

Tanu Gupta is a Visiting Assistant Professor at the Centre for research on the Economics of Climate, Food, Energy and Environment (CECFEE), Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi. She has a Ph.D. from the  Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Research (IGIDR), Mumbai , and holds a master’s degree in Economics from Delhi School of Economics, Delhi.

Research Interests

Her main research areas are Development Economics, Gender Economics, Labour Economics, Gender Economics, Food And Nutrition, Health and Sanitation, and Applied Econometrics. She is currently involved in research on the impacts of air pollution on labor supply and time use allocation.
