Geleto, Kebede Bekele

Kebede Bekele Geleto is a lecturer at the Department of Economics, Addis Ababa University. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. in Economics under the collaborative program between the University of Gothenburg and Addis Ababa University.

Research interests

Kebede’s main research areas are development economics and labour economics. One of his ongoing studies deals with the impact of rural non-farm entrepreneurship on multidimensional energy poverty. He is also studying the effects of digitalization on both human capital and firm resilience in the face of shocks.
