Energy Insights and Innovation Lab, EIIL ,can support shortlisted teams with a workspace in Mumbai, coordination with Tata Power staff for field implementation, where relevant, and limited funding for research costs on a case-by-case basis.
There are two tracks.
1. EIIL Research Projects Call:
Submit a project proposal covering the research question, empirical approach, data needs, timeline, and relevance to Tata Power and energy policy. Proposals will be shortlisted based on academic quality and relevance to policy priorities. Any funding is subject to Tata Power's interest and agreement to support the project.
2. EIIL Early Career Research Fellowships (Mumbai-based, up to GBP 5,000):
For PhD students and postdocs to be based at EIIL in Mumbai over the summer, working on defined projects using EIIL data and in coordination with Tata Power teams.
Deadline is Sunday, 4 May at 5:00 pm UK time.
