Director EfD Nigeria receives a national award of Outstanding Lecturer

The Nigerian Government has conferred a national Outstanding Teacher/Lecturer award to the Director of EfD Nigeria, Dr. Nnaemeka Chukwuone. 

The Federal Government of Nigeria recognized deserving Nigerians for their significant contributions to the growth of various economies in a range of sectors to mark the end of the celebration of Nigeria at 60. The award was tagged Nigeria at 60 awards (N60SA).

Nnaemeka Chukwuone, one of the 60 awardees nationally, received the award under the “Award for Service to Education” category. The award was given to him on September 30, 2021, at a ceremony in the Presidential Banquet Hall, Abuja.  Details of the award can be obtained from https://www.nigerianspecialawards.com/awardees/service-to-education/ 

“The selection processes were already concluded before I was informed, I didn’t know how I was selected”, Nnaemeka Chukwuone said.

He thanked the President of Nigeria, Muhammad Buhari, for the award, stating that “it is an invitation to do more for the development of my country”.

 

Nnaemeka Chukwuone dedicated the award to his family, the EfD Nigeria team, and the University of Nigeria.
