The objective of the Summer School is to present Choice 
Experiments as a tool for trade-off assessment to 
participants from Sub-Saharan Africa. It offers a unique 
opportunity for early-career researchers to learn from and 
interact with experts and to present their own work.

•    Theoretical foundations of consumer theory

•    Design of Choice Experiments with a specific reference to adaptation to climate change

•    State-of-the-art models for the econometric analysis of discrete choice data

•    Interpretation of results with respect
to policymaking
