Carriazo, Fernando

Fernando Carriazo is Associate Professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Universidad del Rosario in Bogotá, and research Fellow of EfD Colombia. He holds a PhD in Agricultural, Environmental and Regional Economics from Penn State University. 


His current research interest include the estimation of benefits from pollution control policies, the economics of spatial externalities and environmental urban policies, and urban-rural linkages and their role in regional development.

His research methods include spatial econometrics and non-market valuation techniques using both revealed and stated preferences methods.
