Publications related to EfD by Anders Ekbom
Anders Ekbom works at the Environmental Economics Unit (EEU), Department of Economics, University of Gothenburg, Sweden. He is responsible for a Sida financed Helpdesk for Environmental Economics at EEU. In 2007 he completed his PhD thesis on soil capital, land use and agricultural production in Kenya. His research interests are within the fields of environmental economics, agricultural economics and the economics of sustainable land use in developing countries. He is also conducting research on Strategic Environmental Assessment.
Mr. Ekbom has also worked at the World Bank as an environmental economist (1993, 1996-1998), in the Africa Department, Environment Div., where he was appointed to perform Strategic Environmental Analysis and mainstream environmental sustainability aspects in the Bank’s operational work in Sub-Saharan Africa, particularly the Country Assistance Strategies. Mr. Ekbom has worked closely with Sida since 1991 as an advisor to their work of integrating environmental sustainability concerns into their development cooperation.
