Dr. Wanxin Li is Assistant Professor at the School of Public Policy and Management at Tsinghua University and City University of Hong Kong. Her research focuses on regulatory governance and sustainable development. More specifically, she has been writing on the implementation and evaluation of the environmental regulatory governance mechanisms in China.
Dr. Wanxin Li is currently leading a research project on how to design and use public policy tools to promote more resource-efficient and cleaner industry in the context of circular economy in China. Another line of her research is on the institutional capacity of environmental protection agencies and its implications for pollution reduction in China. Wanxin Li holds two masters, one in economics and the other in statistics, and a Ph.D. in public administration.
