Dale Whittington is a Professor of Environmental Sciences & Engineering, and City & Regional Planning, at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (USA). He has a Chaired Professorship (part-time) at Manchester Business School, University of Manchester (UK).
Professor Whittington´s main research interests are water resources policy in developing countries, municipal water and sanitation planning in developing countries, international river basin management, and vaccine policy.
Whittington´s work has included water pricing and tariff design, demand for infrastructure services, and environmental valuation. His current research focusing on Nile river basin management, Ganges river basin management, vaccine policy
