Priscilla Cooke St. Clair is an associate professor of economics at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, Washington. Her research interests focus on household and intra-household analysis of environmental policy, and specifically on the areas of community forestry, forest tenure, and household energy. Her previous work has investigated household labor allocation and household non-timber forest product use in Nepal, and household fuelwood use in developing countries. Her current research projects include analyzing the distributional effects of community forestry in Nepal, and evaluating the effect of China’s collective forest tenure reform on household labor allocation and welfare.
