Post-doc at the NC State University

A postdoctoral position in conservation and development is available in the Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources at North Carolina State University.

The Department of Forestry and Environmental Resources is searching for a post-doc, with initial responsibilities focused on econometric analysis and field supervision of on-going panel survey in the Brazilian Amazon, but a fair amount of flexibility to define research tasks and topics over the three years for which funding is available.

The candidate must have completed all requirements for a PhD in economics or a related field by the start date. The appointment is for 9 – 15 months, negotiable. Preferred starting date is sometime between 1 September and 1 November 2010, but starting dates in January 2011 will also be considered. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
