ISDRS conference, Universidad de los Andes, June 14-16, 2017

The International Sustainable Development Research Society – ISDRS is pleased to announce its 23rd annual conference, to be held on June 14-16, 2017 at the Universidad de los Andes School of Management – UASM in Bogotá, Colombia.

The ISDRS is a highly respected research society on sustainable development with a successful tradition of annual conferences. This will be the 23rd conference in a row and the first time in Latin America. The UASM has recently added an academic area on sustainable development and it has become an end in the School’s mission. One of the main purposes of this joint effort between ISDRS and UASM is to make bridges among scholars from Latin America and the rest of the world.

The general theme of the Colombian conference is how to engage academia, civil society, local and national governments, and private sector in strengthening the goal of sustainable development at all levels of decision-making. The ISDRS 2017 Conference is the ideal place for academics and practitioners from the whole world to learn from and contribute to the Colombian and Latin American experiences on sustainable development.
