LACEEP's 2016 training course kicks off

The Latin American and Caribbean Environmental Economics Program (LACEEP) is hosting its training course on “Causal Inference and Evidence-based Policy” carried out at CATIE’s headquarters in Turrialba, Costa Rica from September 20-24, 2016.

The course is aimed at junior researchers who are citizens of any country in Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) region, the course sessions combine lectures, discussion, class exercises, presentations, and interactive group work.

LACEEP is the Latin American and Caribbean Environmental Economics Program, focusing in capacity building that provides research grants in environmental and resource economics to Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) researchers.  Supported by the Canadian International Development Research Center (IDRC) and the Inter-American Development Bank (BID). LACEEP provides not only financial support, but also meetings, close advice and supervision by specifically appointed scientists, access to literature, publication outlets, and opportunities for comparative research.
