Course in Policy Instruments for Environmental and Climate Economics

The Environmental Economics Unit (EEU) at the Department of Economics, University of Gothenburg, Sweden, is at present running one of their specialization courses in environmental economics, namely Policy Instruments for Environmental and Climate Economics.

This PhD course (26 march – 27 April, 2012) is intended to give an overview of applied environmental economics with particular emphasis on the design of policies in the areas of air pollution, agriculture, land use, forestry, biodiversity conservation and climate change.

Course coordinator is Professor Thomas Sterner and other lecturers are; Jessica Coria, Xiangping Liu, Astrid Dannenberg, Magnus Hennlock, Carolyne Fischer.

Participants are, apart from our own six PhD students, four from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, one from Umeå University and 10 guest students from eight different countries, in total 21 participants.
