Carolyn Fischer awarded with The AquaFish Prize.

EfD and Resource for the Future  Senior Researcher Carolyn Fischer was awarded with the 2016 Best Aquaculture Economics Paper (The AquaFish Prize).

The International Institute of Fisheries Economics & Trade (IIFET) awarded Fischer's paper with Marty Smith and Atle Guttormsen: Disease Risk and Market Structure in Salmon Aquaculture published in Water Economics and Policy Journal.

The awarded paper develops a model of a multi-national firm producing commodities for a global market in multiple locations with location-specific risks and different regulatory standards. To read the paper click here.
