International Workshop on Policies to increase forest cover in Ethiopia
Participants from various research and educational institutions, donors, federal and regional offices attended the two-day workshop held at Global Hotel in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, during 18-19 September 2007.
The main objectives of the workshop were to bring together major stakeholders in the area, have a common understanding on the alarming rate of deforestation and review current effort to abate the problem.
