- 2008-07-03 Preconference on Environment and Development in connection with EAERE A great number of researchers working on environment and development issues were participating in the conference EAERE 2008 in Gothenburg, Sweden, June 26-28. Therefore, a special preconference on environment and development was arranged on June 25.
- 2008-02-28 International Conference on Collective Forest Tenure and Regulatory Reform in China, February 28-29, 2008 An international conference on collective forest tenure and regulatory reform in China was held in Beijing on February 28-29, 2008.
- 2007-11-09 EfD Annual Meeting The First Annual Meeting for EfD, Environment for Development initiative, took place on November 5-9, 2007 in Cape Town. All research fellows from the EfD centers, as well as a number of collaborators, were invited. The program included presentations and discussions on EfD work in progress as well as interactions to develop next year’s research program.
- 2007-09-18 International Workshop on Policies to increase forest cover in Ethiopia Participants from various research and educational institutions, donors, federal and regional offices attended the two-day workshop held at Global Hotel in Addis Abeba, Ethiopia, during 18-19 September 2007.
