The economics of climate change mitigation at the 2009 Climate Change Summit
The Environmental Policy Research Unit (EPRU) represented by Kerri Brick and Martine Visser, the Energy Research Centre (ERC) and Genesis Analytics have examined various aspects of the economics of climate change mitigation. Five concept papers have been published by ERC and are available on the ERC website.
The series of papers set the context and consider four economic instruments, namely domestic GHG emissions trading, a carbon tax, tradable renewable energy certificates and white certificate trading. The papers were presented at events at the 2009 Climate Change Summit .
